There are remarkable, mystical and mathematical connections to a deck of playing cards. The four suits (clubs, hearts, spades and diamonds) represent the four seasons in the year (spring, summer, fall, winter). There are 52 cards in a deck. There are 52 weeks in a year. There are 13 cards per suit. There are 13 lunar cylces in a year. If you add all the values of each card, (jack = 11, queen = 12, king = 13, joker = 1) you'll get a total of 365. There are 365 days in one year.

One problem. What about a leap year? How disappointing.
